This broadcaster took the shine out of his post by the way he introduced himself. “My name is Francis” is not very appealing as cover to an important message like this. Is he really informed? Or is he just one rabble rouser who wants to have his own session on Nigeria?
Nevertheless, if the story is true it is a big shame on whoever is the Nigerian Governor that gives contract to foreigners to build street lights in his state.
Hopefully those in whose state the project is to be implemented will blow the whistle when the time comes.
What if Nigerian contractors have purchased street light materials from the UK, would Mr Boris Johnson not have been right to say that his nationals are building street lights in Nigeria? That is where the stature of ‘Francis’ comes into play.
