NCEE 2017/2018 ENTRANCE EXAM CUTOFF MARKS PUBLISHED [For All 36 States]
My attention has just been drawn to a publication by NCEE (National Common Entrance Examination) Board on Entrance Examination cut off marks for the 36 states in Nigeria.
What, for Gods sake, do these cutoff marks for states mean?
Could they be prescribing what candidates must score to qualify for something? And states have different figures with margins as wide as the table shows?
Going by the published figures, some states require 65 while some require 18. What does that say in real terms?
Are these figures truly published by Federal Government Agencies? These things sound ridiculous and unbelievable. How can children who score 65 be put in the same class with those who score 18?
Can somebody who knows please explain how these things are reasoned out.
We may be loosing our collective sanity if these things go on unchecked, unexplained and unstopped.
I am already loosing mine.
