Translation: Instinctive response to the doorbell….who is that?

Intended meaning : Biscuit
Translation: Biscuit was his first snack and he demanded it like kilode.

Intended meaning: It is up there!
Translation : Our househelp habitually considered he was consuming too much biscuit. She would keep the biscuit on a raised rack where Yemi could not reach. Yemi would however wait for his earliest opportunity to tell anyone that his biscuit was ‘mischievously’ kept ‘up there’ (“at the u-u-p”)
