I understand you guys who play in the ComTech industry are conferencing today on a theme that is apt for all times. I wish you well.
I have said this several times, and wonder how many people ever listened to me, that our (your) industry was not built by Government but largely by those who play(ed) in it. That is why the shenanigans of ministers could only have injured, not destroy, the industry.
However there seemed not to be a challenge in my days because Ministers moved rather frequently. These days, the game has changed. They last full government terms. In there lies a challenge for you all.
The other guy yesterday, going by my reading, did not know what to do, but he knew what not to do. This time I see your guy knows what he wants to do but does not know the things he must not do.
The remaining is left for you who invest to take up the challenge since, afterall, even if you do not worry over your consumers you will worry over your investments.
I wish you all the luck.
