Nje e ti gbo? (Have you heard?)

December 8, 2019

Se e ti gbo! (I hope you have heard!)

Yoruba, a dazzling language, has been romantically (yes quote me) warming into the hearts of other languages.

Google says the following of ‘fanimora‘ and ‘fanimorous‘ …. ….

Fanimorous: to be highly attracted or enticed by something. It’s a magnetic vibe that wants you to have, own or be with. This word is of Nigerian origin. It is derived from the yoruba word “fanimora” which means to hold close and the suffix ‘ous‘ is added to it.

Use dictionaries and you will not see fanimorous listed. But use modern tools of Google and wikipedia and there you are.

Please tell us others.
