Chairman and executive committee members of the Unilag Faculty of Engineering Alumni Association were on television this weekend to discuss the objective of their next Thursday’s luncheon at the Radisson Blu hotel, Ikeja.

Chairman Dideolu Falobi explained that the Association’s N500,000 million fund raising project is to support the Association’s committment to radically intervene in improving teaching, learning and research infrastructure at the faculty.
Already, many industrially and politically strong members of the association have confirmed their attendance at the luncheon.
They include Governors of Lagos, Oyo, and Deputy Governor of Ogun states. He explained that those three politically strong members of the association are drivers of the project implementation and they will be Special Guests of Honour at the Luncheon.
Engr Wole Ogunsanya whose firm, Geoplex Group, is about now funding a vertical extension of sections of the physical structures in the Faculty is also marked to be present at the luncheon.
Otunba Gbenga Daniel, another alumnus, and Dr John Momoh President Worldwide of UNILAG ALUMNI Association are confirmed will be in attendance as Chairman of the Event and Chief Host respectively.
The luncheon is schedule for Thursday May 5, 2022, 10am at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.

A lecture on Lagos Mass Transit project to discuss its status and business opportunities will be delivered by Engr Abimbola Akinajo, an alumna, and Chief Executive of Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority, LAMATA.
Prof Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos is a distinguished Special Guest to the event.
Officials of the association who featured in the television broaccast include Engineers Dideolu Falobi, Remi Ayeni and Ayo Ogunnoiki.
