World Engineering body elects Engr Mustafa Balarabe Shehu as President

A Past President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Engr. Mustafa Balarabe Shehu has been returned as the President-elect of the World Federation of Engineering Organisations (WFEO).
He emerged the President-elect in an election conducted at the on going General Assembly of the World Engineering Summit in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Balarabe Shehu polled 67 of 71 votes in the election which held on Wednesday March 9, 2022.

Until now, Engr. Mustafa Shehu was the Executive Vice-President of WFEO after winning the election at the World Engineering Summit in Australia in 2019. He will take over as the WFEO President at Prague, Czech Republic in October 2023, during the Organisation’s next General Assembly.

Engr Balarabe Shehu is a Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering.
