I posted the following to one fellow who claims to administer an online platform and on behalf of which he has ceaselessly harrassed me to make a contribution to this so-called
“Yes. All the literature that that bloke has been coercing consultants to write for him are very silly, thoughtless, visionless documents. Of course nobody ever reads those documents except those who are invited to “come and chop”, appraise it, and glorify it. Take anyone of them, read it, and correct me if I am right.”
24 hours after I sent the above, noone on the platform has told me they read anything like it. 🤣
Z is the last letter of all alphabets just as Jail has become the last home for Zuma. Yes, Jacob Zuma.
Nobody is above the law as Jacob Zuma, former President of South Africa finally found out and he gave up himself in to the police in deference to his jail sentence.
It is for only 15 months alright, but JZ will miss his women.
“At the end, despite the overwhelming evidence of bribery against Mr. (Farouk) Lawan, it took nine years, after the bribery incident to get him convicted. But for many Nigerians, it was worth it as ‘Mr Integrity’ cum ‘cap banker’ finally went to a deserved jail.” – Premium Times Report.
“Yet the attention of the Buhari administration is elsewhere. Rather than seeking lasting remedies to the various causes of insecurity — among them the corrupt use of army funds, the poor human rights record of the security forces, the proliferation of weapons, the lingering trauma of previous conflicts and growing material impoverishment — the government is instead evading responsibility, asking citizens to “rise to the challenge of the moment” to defend themselves.” – Dr. Sa’eed Husaini, New York Times, June 8, 2021
“Buhari’s recent deployment of this language is thus wrongly targeted, and tragically untimely. Even while he was threatening dissidents, an agenda of both secessionism and alien occupation was taking place not too distant from Aso Rock. ISWAP was taking over the already excised territories of Shekau’s Boko Haram, appointing new warlords of the occupational forces, sectioning Nigeria into vassal states and unfurling their replacement flags of domination. Soon, logically, ISWAP’s letters of diplomatic accreditation will be presented in Aso Rock?” – Prof Wole Soyinka, June 4, 2021
A long list of names which are said to be of persons that may have to retire as a consequence of the appointment of one person, is travelling round. Various other insinuations, some bad , others very sad , are thrown into the review.
Usually one wishes these insinuations are untrue. But many would say they have always been true because it is tradition.
No matter how these issues are explained away, it is a bad system that allows a struggling country to loose dozens of very senior military officers just for a reason as naive as tradition of sucession in the armed forces.
We can think and find a solution to such a wasteful system.
Haba, we can do better thinking.
“The balance of risks and rewards associated with our onshore portfolio is no longer compatible with our strategic ambitions,” Shell’s CEO Ben van Beurden told Nigeria this week about its desire to pull out (he calls it a way to move forward).
That is always the end of he who has been screwed. Officials of the screwed nation are still saying that oil wells will remain relevant beyond 2040 though.
A bank service manager stole his employer’s N11m in 2017. Judgement came in 2020 with a conviction of one year jail sentence or a fine of N100,000 in lieu of the jail term.
The criminal actually pleaded for mercy and he got it. The basis of his pleading for mercy was that he had previously been setenced to a jail term for criminal misappropriation by another court. So the judge showed mercy.
MY SHORTAKES ON DONAL TRUMP’S EXIT
“I bet you, DTrump will pay for his brazen attempt and near fatal success at turning democracy, as America knows and chrishes it, on its head to achieve a lunatic’s end.” – TOE
And click to WATCH this >>>>>
“Let me tell you just in case youve not heard me so good. Donald Trump will pay for all the nonesense he said, did, and pushed in those four years that he set out to undo the world outside of his brain. Bet you.” -TOE.
Trump will never concede, he will break things ~ Niece Mary Trump
• _“My uncle’s speech late on election night wasn’t just entirely mendacious from beginning to end. It was also deeply dangerous._
• _This is what Donald’s going to do: he’s not going to concede, although who cares. What’s worse is he’s not going to engage in the normal activities that guarantee a peaceful transition. All he’s got now is breaking stuff, and he’s going to do that with a vengeance._
• _I’ve always known how cruel he can be. Shortly after the 2016 election, when I’d see him being particularly cruel, I would think about how he treated my father [Fred Trump Jr, Donald’s older brother, who died of alcoholism at 43]._
• _He took away our family health insurance after his father, my grandfather, died – this was when my nephew needed round-the-clock nursing care, which we then couldn’t afford. That is the kind of man he is._
• _He’ll be having meltdowns upon meltdowns right now. He has never been in a situation like this before. What’s interesting is that Donald has never won anything legitimately in his entire life, but because he has been so enabled by people along the way, he has never lost anything either. He’s the kind of person who thinks that even if you steal and cheat to win, you deserve to win._
_I worry about what Donald’s going to do in that time to lash out. He will go as far as he can to delegitimise the new administration, then he’ll pass pardons that will demoralise us, and sign a flurry of executive orders. Remember, he will also still be in charge of the US response to the pandemic. There could be a million Americans dead by then under his watch.”_

“You will be shocked that when you start arguing with your children, they will be quoting the social media. So, we need a social media policy in Nigeria, and we need to empower the various agencies and we need technology to be able to regulate the social media.” – Lai Mohammed.
Lai, that is a lie. Technology is there available to do all things : the good the bad, the ugly. What you need is to govern well or to ship out.

An NUC that wants to build ‘world-class’ universities recently approved 4 licenses to an Imo State that has not paid salaries in its existing tertiary institutions; not got legislative approval to establish universities; and not confirmed budget plan for the new universities. What do we call that?
I say ‘NaijaMagic’. What of you?

You wonder why all this nonsense is happening. Especially in a State where almost every family has produced a PhD.
OBJ, THREE PROFESSORS, SAME DAY
WS on OBJ
“…I know that deep inside, there is a soakaway pond of personal insecurity struggling to be drained. Beneath every bully, there is a scared product of insecurity and troubled conscience. Now, fight your own demons as best as you can, and feel free to flagellate Buhari (President Muhammadu) with all the weapons in your armoury. I have only one demand: keep away from movements struggling to restore this nation to the path of sanity and even moderate rectitude. End your hijacking propensity.’’ – Prof Wole Soyinka on Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. July 3, 2017.
Is this the bombshell you promised us, Prof? Nothing new sir. You just, as usual, said it AS IT IS. It is going to be herculean to say a new thing that ebora owu has done. Even running from pillar to post once happened except that this time he may have reached the ultimate.
SAGAY ON OBJ
“What has happened recently was that after Obasanjo launched an endless series of attacks on President Muhammadu Buhari, Presidency too started doling out at intervals some of his shenanigans and gross misconduct, that is what has made him uncomfortable. Why should anybody be rallying anyone who is not in danger? And if he is in danger; what type of danger is he in? What did he do that is now haunting him? He is running from pillar to post, looking for the Yoruba to gather together. The whole thing, for me, is an admission of things that we are not aware that he is looking for advanced protection against the consequences of his sins,” – Prof Itse Sagay said of Chief Obasanjo July 3, 2018.
What else can anyone say?
SALAWU TO OBJ
“I am very pleased to have a former President of Nigeria as a colleague in the academia.” Prof Ibrahim Salawu Director of Abeokuta Centre of Open University of Nigeria, July 3, 2018 after he had allocated an office to former President Olusegun Obasanjo to use as course facilitator of the Institution.
Still the same trend. In pusuit of I, ME, MYSELF.
“As I said, stop giving excuses; we met challenges. If there are no challenges, then we wouldn’t need you to come. You come in because you know there are challenges and then giving us an excuse that you have many challenges; that is why you haven’t achieved results.” – Olusegun Obasanjo April 2, 2018
It is difficult to understand why this is difficult to understand.
Yes, you may have a problem with the messenger, please deal with the message.
“I live in the Lekki area of Lagos, and in my community, there are at least 50 really nice churches, but there’s no adult literacy center, no homeless shelter and very few public schools and hospitals. Many of these spaces could be utilized for social change. Imagine if every single church in Lekki opened its doors to the homeless at night, gave them a sleeping bag, a warm meal and a voucher in the morning to learn a vocational course, offered by the unemployed youth who attend that church. That would demonstrate what we preach and what we speak about as people of faith, and what led me to Christianity in the first place….” – Ndidi Nwuneli on TEDTalk.
Yes Ndidi, but that will not constitute business which led some to ‘christianity'(their own christianity i.e.) in the first place.

“A wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labour the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good Government.”

Nothing serious. Its just like putting a wrong person in public office.
“Let me also state clearly here that Dr. Saraki is not one to sneak into a room via the window. He would rather enter through the front door so that his entry is well noted and acknowledged. Nigerians know that when he joined the APC, he did not sneak in. Therefore, no one should attach any mischievous or inaccurate interpretation to his absence at the two meetings held at times when his whereabouts were a matter of public record” – Mr Saraki’s Spokesman, Alhaji Yusuph Olaniyonu.
Dont mind them, Alhaji.
Mr Saraki did not sneak into APC when he came in. Walai he will not sneak out when he will go out. They are all HATE SPEAKERS fa.
“The rumours going round, which I don’t know whether it’s true but I believe other senators know, is the fact that there were allegations that some monkeys raided the farm house of some of the executives of the northern senators forum and carted away some of these money” – Senator Shehu Sanni, February 21, 2018 giving an insight into why Norther Senators Forum members sacked Senator Abdullahi Adamu as their Chairman.
This must be DISTINGUISHED ANIMALISM since monkeys (animals) are involved. Yes, things are getting to ridiculous levels now.
“On this same case, people are being prosecuted in Italy and in Britain a lot of money has been recovered. So, it is strange to say that in the home turf, where it all originated and where all the evidences exist, there is no evidence. It is strange” – Prof Itse Sagay fauting Federal Attoney General’s recommendation that the Malabu oil scam litigation be discontinued.
Yes indeed. It is STRANGE.
With Aisha opting for silence and many Buharists of my ilk withdrawing into silence one after the other, Im not really sure what I can say PMB wants to be remembered for.
It puzzles how such huge amount of goodwill could be frittered away in less than four years. And these befuddling decisions keep sticking out by the week.
